Contract Senior IT Technician

Part-time contract work, this is not a full-time position.

Job Description

You will be responsible for computer and network support. The work involves installing, configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, network equipment and server applications. Most of the devices run Microsoft Windows, and some run MacOS, iOS, and Android.

Work Location

San Francisco South Bay Area, and Pleasanton California area.

Work Schedule

As a contractor you set your own working hours. We will contact you by phone or email when an assignment is available. You may accept or refuse any assignment, but once accepted you must begin work on it at the agreed upon time.

Education Requirements

You must have a college degree in Computer Science or related a technical field, or a minimum of 4 years of verifiable work experience in computer and network support.

Experience Requirements

You must have at least years of on-the-job experience as a computer or network technician, or at least two years of experience and a 4 year Computer Science or related college degree. Technical familiaity with Microsoft Windows is required. Familiarity with MacOS, iOS and Android is advantageous.

Compensation

The pay rate for this job varries from $40/hour to $80/hour depending upon education and experience. Checks are issued weekly.
